The hangeroc is inspired by various originals from the 9th–10th century. This apron dress was worn by Viking women and was often fastened to the garment with shield brooches, to which jewellery was frequently attached as well. Crafted from coarsely woven cotton, the hangeroc achieves an authentically historical appearance. It is constructed in a historical herringbone pattern.
