The apron dress is inspired by various 9th–10th century originals. The apron dress was worn by Viking women and was often secured to the dress with shield brooches, to which jewellery was frequently attached. Crafted from coarse-woven cotton, it achieves an authentically historical appearance. The dress is constructed in a historical herringbone motif.
