Product description
The buckle on this one belt is inspired by a buckle closure in the so-called Osebergstyle, found on the Swedish island of Gotland and dating from the 9th century.
The belt in black leather is made of sturdy cowhide leather of 2.8 to 3.2 mm thick, waxed matt finished so that it develops a beautiful natural patina over time. Two pressed lines along the sides indicate the belt a sleek appearance, and thanks to the length you can wear it knotted.
A decent one belt for reenactment from the Viking Age and the early Middle Ages, directly from the leather cut and nailed instead of sewn for extra durability.
