Product description
The expressive buckle of this one belt is based on a bronze find from Gnezdovo near Smolensk in Russia and dates from the 10th century. The buckle used is slightly larger than the historic original at 4.8 x 4.5 cm.
The belt in black leather, with an open, unfinished edge, is made of sturdy cowhide leather of 2.8 to 3.2 mm thick, waxed matt finished so that it develops a natural patina over time. The belt Supplied with a matching strap end. Two pressed lines along the sides indicate the belt a sleek appearance, and thanks to the length you can wear it knotted.
A sustainable one belt for reenactment from the Viking Age and the early Middle Ages, nailed instead of sewn.
