This disc fibula with filigree granulation decor is based on a find from Filborna in Schonen, Sweden and is made in the so-called Terslev style of the 9th-10th century, named after a rich silver treasure that was buried on the Danish island of Zealand at the end of the 10th century.

Performed in silvered bronze, with a diameter of 4.2 cm. In the historic originals, small pearls and fine threads were placed by hand on the piece of jewelry soldered; Our representation is cast in one piece, showing off the filigree image to its best advantage. Thanks to the eye on the back you can see the fibula can also be worn as a pendant.
