The call horn is based on images of historical originals. Call horns of this kind were used from prehistoric times to the 18th century. They were employed in both war and hunting. The call horn features a brass mouthpiece, by which it may be attached to a leather cord. The bronze mouthpiece has been crafted in the Jellinge style, using the lost-wax method.
