An intriguing board game with its origins in the Viking era, Hnefatafl is a strategic and engaging game that reflects the spirit of the ancient Scandinavian warriors. Also known as 'the king's table', Hnefatafl revolves around the confrontation between two opposing forces — the king and his defenders against the attacking forces. The board consists of a grid field, with the king as the central point, surrounded by his loyalists. The challenge is to guide the king safely to a corner of the board, whilst the opponent does everything they can to surround him.
