Product description
The Viking pendant is a replica of a 10th-century original excavated in Staraja Ladoga in Russia. A similar original has been found in grave 6 in Zaozere, alongside Slavic temple rings. This type of jewellery was characteristic of the Vikings in the region of Finland. The finds in Russia make it clear that such pieces were worn widely throughout the Viking world. In grave 6 they were found together with Slavic temple rings, indicating that early medieval women wore both styles.
