Product description
The high quality Viking knife is based on a find from Gotland, Sweden, from around the ninth/tenth century. The back of the knife has, just like the original, a black oxidation layer that lends it a rustic appearance. Typical of Gotland knives is a grip crafted from walnut wood, with a bone ring at the bottom and a brass plate. The end of the grip features a brass ring, to fasten a leather lace, for example. The leather scabbard is richly decorated with brass fittings in the Gotland style. It has a ring so that it may be hung from the belt using a lace. The knife is sharp and well-suited to practical use such as cutting wood, leather, and other materials.
