Product description
The lucet is a replica of a 9th-century original found at Sømhovd in northern Norway. Throughout the Viking World, lucets such as these were employed to spin thread and wool. The original is crafted from whale bone, whilst this one is constructed from bovine bone. It has been engraved just as the original and is fashioned from the same type of bone.
