Product description
This rod-shaped chain divider is a replica of a find from grave 854 of the Viking settlement of Birka. There are holes on the back for attaching multiple chains between the turtle brooches, although you can also attach fewer.
Between about 700 and 1000 AD. Oval tortoise brooches with a chain divider were a permanent part of Viking women's costume, especially in eastern Sweden, Gotland and the Baltic region. The price applies per piece; order two copies if you want a pair.
A nice addition for those who want to complete the Viking woman's costume or who want to collect this piece of jewelry separately.
