Product description
Spears of this type were the most important weapons of the Vikings. The length of the spearheads was approximately 20 cm in early times; later, their length could be up to 60 cm. The so-called krókspjót (spear with barbs) featured wings at the bottom of the spearhead, serving several purposes.
The Viking spear measures 220 cm in total length, whilst the spearhead itself measures 40 cm. The wooden shaft at the centre is screwed on.
