Product description
This woollen headpiece transports you straight into the world of the Vikings. The design is inspired by historical finds from Haithabu (Hedeby) and Birka. Headgear was important in the Middle Ages for both men and women, although a cap in this particular style was mainly worn by men — both in a plain version and with a fur trim.
This cap is made of 100% wool and constructed from four wedge-shaped panels, finished with a trim in the same colour. This piece is the sober variant, without fur, in a warm green colour. Please note that the dimensions of each piece may vary slightly.
At a medieval market, a Viking gathering or a re-enactment event, this is a fine choice for cold days, and in everyday life the cap keeps your head warm too. A lovely finishing touch to your outfit for anyone who loves natural materials and historical craftsmanship.
