Product description
From the early 14th century, armor left a vulnerable opening at the armpit, between the cuirass and the shoulder pads. These voiders have been developed to cover exactly that weak point, so you don't need a full chain mail haubergeon under your armor. The design is based on 15th century images; Similar pieces have been preserved in various historical collections.
The rings are from steel, round rings - round rivets, ring diameter 8 mm. You can attach the voiders to an arming jacket or gambeson with leather laces, or provide them with a textile inlay so that you can wear them loosely over your underwear.
A practical addition to your armor for reenactment and HEMA — suitable for show fighting and training, and a must-have for those who want to cover the vulnerable areas of a cuirass.
