Product description
The Gundestrup cauldron is one of the most famous finds from the European Iron Age: a silver-plated cauldron with rich, Celtic-Thracian imagery, discovered in a Danish bog in 1891. This relief shows a partial cut-out with three deities from the original silver panels.
The replica itself is cast in finely ground plaster alabaster — the designation 'silver' on the source page refers to the colour from the original object, not to it material of this relief.
