Product description

The carving is based on the famous Thor's hammer ornament found on the island of Hiddensee in Germany. The Thor's hammer is a protective amulet and symbol of strength and courage, referring to the weapon of the Viking supreme god Thor. This wood carving is a beautiful work of art for your wall and makes a distinctive, thoughtful gift. The wood may optionally be painted or stained should you wish to hang it in the garden. The carving may also be placed against a wall, on a home altar, on a bookshelf, or in any number of other settings.
