Product description
The chaperon is a medieval headdress that was mainly worn by the lower classes of society during the early Middle Ages. Towards the end of the Middle Ages, wealthier people also began to wear fashionable chaperons. This luxurious chaperon is crafted from a wool mix and protects the head, neck and shoulders against wind, rain and cold. A fine accessory for re-enactment or LARPing during the winter months, or simply on a cold day. The chaperon is beautifully decorated along the edges with embroidered vine patterns. It may be fastened with the woollen cords so that it remains comfortably in place. The chaperon features a long-pointed hood in medieval style.
