The Shalvar trousers are based on a 3rd–4th century original. Trousers of this type were worn across North Europe from the 2nd century BC until the 10th century AD, and remained in use until the 16th century in certain areas such as Ireland.
These comfortable trousers permit an excellent freedom of movement. The bottom may be wrapped with leg wrappings for extra warmth. Crafted from cotton, they are well-suited to historical reenactment and everyday wear alike.
