Initially, the skirt was a piece of clothing for both men and women. It was crafted with sleeves and worn as everyday clothing across all social classes. Only later did the skirt develop into the shape we know today. Combined with the blouse and bodice from the Anna line, this costume serves as an excellent base for a tavern maiden's dress. The skirt is likewise well-suited to any other costume. The ankle-length skirt Anna is constructed with a wide, comfortable waistband. The lacing at the back may be employed to adjust the skirt individually to the wearer's figure. Constructed from rough canvas, the skirt is built to withstand a great deal of wear. Particularly well-suited to LARP events and medieval markets.
