Product description
Gambeson gorgets of this type were worn during the Middle Ages. They are depicted in the Morgan Bible and other medieval visual art. The Leopold gambeson gorget has been developed to protect the neck during reenactment and LARP battles. At the front, it may be fastened with laces. The gambeson gorget is particularly well-suited to wearing beneath chainmail or large helmets such as armets and bascinets. This gambeson gorget is constructed from a rough woven canvas exterior with a polyester padding.
