The Kite shield is a LARP product by RFB, Ready for Battle. It has been designed specifically for the starting LARPer or young LARPer, crafted from durable foam with a strong layer of latex, and meets high safety standards. LARPers who prefer a practical and simple design will also be well-suited to these products.
Shields of this type were used from the 10th–15th century, principally by both medieval knights and infantry. This LARP shield is crafted after historical pieces. As each shield is handmade and coloured individually, every item is distinctive. Owing to the materials employed, we do not recommend leaving it in the sun for a prolonged period.
We recommend maintaining the foam weapon regularly — at the very least after each use — with silicone spray.
