LARP army sabre

The LARP sword is inspired by the seventeenth-century English Cavaliers. During the English Civil War (1642–51), this term was employed for supporters of Charles I. Cavaliers were of the upper class and carried swords of this kind on the belt, though such weapons remained in use well into the nineteenth century amongst officers in the army — for example during the American Civil War and in the Prussian army.

This sabre is well-suited to LARP characters from the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries, such as American soldiers, officers, Prussians, 17th-century merchants, highwaymen, pirates and the like. Also well-suited to Cosplay of historical films and TV series such as Black Sails, Hornblower, Marie Antoinette, etc.
