LARP bastard sword La Duchesse

Product description

This bastard sword is designed as a companion piece to a matching dagger, both created for a major LARP event in Canada. The hilt features a seahorse motif on both sides as an elegant design, finished in gold that gives the whole piece a stately appearance.

The rest of the handle is kept simpler, with subtle transitions between silver and steel color and between black and dark brown. The blade combines a silver edge on a steel basic, with engraved motifs at the base rendered in gold against a black background. The sword is constructed around a fibreglass core that is completely encased in Calimacil foam.

This sword is intended for use during LARP events and is not suitable for combat with actual physical contact or re-enactment.
