The LARP shield is based on the kite shields employed in Western Europe during the Middle Ages (12th century). A fine shield for medieval LARP or other scenarios. The shield features the Teutonic Cross and the colour combination of the Teutonic Knighthood. This order was founded during the last crusades in the Holy Land. The shield is painted with great realism so that it appears as though the surface is crafted from painted wood. The edge is rendered to resemble steel, complete with imitation steel rivets. The reverse features various leather straps, permitting it to be worn on either the left or right arm.
