LARP Viking short sword Freydis

Product description

This short LARP sword is inspired by the weapons wielded by Viking women and other North Germanic warriors: compact enough for combat in tight formations, yet with sufficient weight to look convincing on the battlefield.

The hilt features a brass-coloured finish around a handle that feels like leather, with decorative rings as an accent. The blade is silver-coloured for a realistic appearance. The whole construction is built around a fibreglass core that is completely encased in soft foam, making the sword durable and safe to use.

This sword is made for use during LARP events and is not intended for combat with actual physical contact or for re-enactment. With regular maintenance using silicone oil, the foam stays supple and remains usable for years to come.
