The gambeson offers protection in re-enactment and LARP. The gambeson has removable sleeves and may be fastened with leather straps. It reaches to the hips. The gambeson is constructed from layers of cotton canvas with polyester padding, stitched in vertical lines in the European medieval style. The gambeson features an upward collar. It may be worn in combination with a padded collar and arming cap for more optimal protection of the head and neck. The gambeson is also available in larger sizes.
