Product description

The process of making papyrus is quite complex and consists of 10 different steps. Papyrus was, except for grain, the main export product of Ancient Egypt.

The sheet of papyrus is crafted from Cyperaceae from the Nile delta. It is traditionally handmade. The production process has been adapted so that it achieves a more antique appearance. The sheet measures 40 x 30 cm and is delivered excluding scrolls.
