Product description

These trousers are based on clothing fragments excavated at Skjoldehamm, in the north of Norway. Trousers of this style were worn throughout Europe during the Viking age. The waist may be fastened with a drawstring. Constructed from cotton, they are well-suited to all weather conditions. In particularly cold weather, they may be combined with coloured leg wrappings. A fine historical garment for your Viking reenactment or LARP outfit.

This size chart is measured on the garment itself, not on the wearer’s body. Measurements are in centimeters. Measure your chest circumference first. Add extra room to this for a comfortable fit.: Regular fit: add 8–12 cm to your chest measurement. Roomy fit / broad shoulders: add 12–19 cm to your chest measurement. Compare the result with the size chart and choose the size whose chest measurement is equal to or greater than your calculated size. Example: If your chest circumference is 100 cm and you want a normal fit, add about 10 cm of extra room. This gives you approximately 110 cm. Then choose the size whose chest measurement in the size chart is at least 110 cm.
