Product description
The turtle brooch is a replica of a 10th-century original excavated in Morberg, Norway. Crafted in the Jellinge style — a Viking art style employed throughout the Viking world — it reflects a distinctive and historically significant tradition. Turtle brooches were worn by Viking women in pairs on the hangeroc. Jewellery such as beads, as well as silver jewellery, was commonly worn between the turtle brooches.
