Product description

This fitting is based on a 9th-10th century original excavated in the Viking town of Birka. Knife scabbard fitting was worn all over the Viking world. Frequently knives, scabbards and fittings were given as burial gifts. This open knot motif makes sure that the leather under the scabbard of this bronze fitting remains visible.
