Jorvik / York Viking festival

 

Jorvik Viking festival is Europe's largest Viking festival and is held annually in the UK Viking city York. There are parades with Viking armies from Coppergate through the town center, a large market with Viking goods and you can visit the Jorvik Viking Center. There are also many reenactors specialized in the Viking age, showing their crafts and giving information about Viking history. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the festival dresses as a historical Viking!
