This brooch is based on a Celtic disc excavated in Auvers-sur-Oise, France, from the 4th century BC. The original was probably used for a horse or chariot fitting, or decorated a funerary banket table. It is made in the early La Tène art style. This brooch is made of bronze and is enameled.
