Product description

This Celtic wood carving is inspired by the Old Irish tales of Cuchulain. It is entirely made in the Insular Celtic style that was used in early medieval Ireland. This handmade wood carving has a mounting point on the back for hanging on the wall. Cuchulain, also known as Setanta, is a legendary hero from Irish mythology, renowned for his unmatched courage and skills in battle. He is often depicted as a young warrior with extraordinary strength and an indomitable spirit, who performed countless heroic deeds during the Ulster Cycle of stories. His most famous adventures include his defense of Ulster against the armies of Connacht and his epic battle against the hound of Culann, where he earned his name Cuchulain ("the hound of Culann").
