This pendant is made of gilded pewter and shows the portrait of a young woman. In the Victorian era, mass production of jewelry became possible because of the Industrial Revolution. Jewelry became thus accessible for all layers of society. Cameos, small reliefs with contrasting colours, became very popular in jewelry design. The pendant is 2,3 x 1,8 cm large and is delivered including necklace.
